One Week

In one week Nathan will be home! It has been a pretty long 3 weeks and I will be so glad to have him home safe.  I know that we are none of us truly safe, a person could get hurt in their garden, but it eases my heart to see him every day.


Nathan and M.B. have been unable to get any of meetings they were hoping for and their contact in Erbil proved ineffectual.  They spent some time with friends to relax and just enjoy the beautiful country they are in, (missed the bombing in Erbil because of it - Thank you Lord!), and are now back in Erbil.  It's looking like we will not be moving to Iraqi-Kurdistan after all.  The pseudo-nation is not yet at the stage where we would be confident of our business flourishing.  (As in, we probably wouldn't get paid on time and so can't move there because we need the money they would have paid us to get there).

But on to new adventures! Nathan and I shall move on to the next stage of life --> surviving America.  Which means jobs for both of us (yuck) and finding an apartment (sigh).  I will try to keep you abreast of any new developments.

Stay tuned for winter activities! Nathan has quite a project planned and we are so excited to share it with everyone!! But that will come later :)
